INCOMING STAFF

Üsküdar University welcomes academic and administrative staff from partner institutions within the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme and is committed to strengthening international academic cooperation through both teaching and training mobility opportunities.

ERASMUS+ STAFF MOBILITY FOR TRAINING (STT)

Staff Training Mobility (STT) enables both academic and administrative staff to participate in professional development activities at Üsküdar University. This mobility aims to enhance professional skills, promote the exchange of best practices, and contribute to institutional capacity building. Visiting staff members have the opportunity to gain practical experience in relevant academic or administrative units and to closely observe the institutional structure, management processes, and organizational culture of the university.

Through this programme, participants expand their professional competencies while also strengthening international cooperation networks in their respective areas of expertise. The experience supports not only individual development but also long-term institutional collaboration between partner universities.

ERASMUS+ STAFF MOBILITY FOR TEACHING (STA)

Teaching Staff Mobility (STA) allows academic staff from partner institutions to teach at Üsküdar University within the scope of existing Inter-Institutional Agreements (IIA). A valid departmental agreement must be included in the IIA, and applicants are advised to consult their home Erasmus Office before applying.

The programme contributes to the internationalization of higher education by bringing international lecturers into the classroom environment. Visiting academics may deliver lectures in undergraduate or graduate courses, interact directly with students, organize seminars or workshops, and initiate future academic collaborations. In doing so, they contribute to academic diversity while also experiencing the academic environment of Üsküdar University.

There is an obligation to deliver at least 8 hours of teaching, corresponding to a minimum of one teaching day. However, a duration of at least two working days is strongly recommended to ensure meaningful academic engagement and contribution to the university’s international academic life.
