Erasmus+ Staff Mobility (Outgoing)
About Erasmus+ Staff Mobility
Erasmus+ Staff Mobility enables academic and administrative staff of Üsküdar University to undertake short-term mobility activities abroad for:
- Teaching Mobility (STA)
- Training Mobility (STT)
The program aims to:
- Strengthen international academic cooperation
- Improve professional competencies
- Exchange institutional good practices
- Enhance internationalization capacity
Mobility must contribute to the professional development of the staff member and the internationalization strategy of the university.
Staff Mobility for Teaching (STA)
Teaching mobility may be carried out:
- At a Higher Education Institution holding an Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE)
- At a partner institution with which Üsküdar University has a valid Inter-Institutional Agreement
Additionally:
- Staff from enterprises may be invited to Üsküdar University for teaching activities (incoming mobility).
Teaching Mobility Requirements
- Minimum 8 hours of teaching
- Minimum duration: 2 working days
- Recommended duration: 2–5 working days
The teaching program must:
- Be clearly defined in a Teaching Work Plan
- Be approved and signed by both institutions
The mobility should provide meaningful academic contribution to the host institution.
Staff Mobility for Training (STT)
The Staff Training Mobility Program is open to:
- Academic staff
- Administrative staff
The host institution must hold the Erasmus Charter.
Types of Training Mobility
- Learn from partner institution practices
- Improve job-related skills
Activities may include:
- Job shadowing
- Practical training
- Study visits
- Short secondments
Duration of Training Mobility
- Minimum: 2 working days
- Maximum: 5 working days
Weekends and holidays are not funded unless:
- They are used as working days
- Or necessary travel days
The Work Plan must clearly justify these days.
Application & Selection Process
Applicants must prepare:
- Teaching Work Plan (for STA)or
- Training Work Plan (for STT)
The Work Plan must be:
- Approved by both institutions
- Signed before application submission
Applicants must also obtain:
- Letter of Invitation
- Curriculum Vitae
- Completed Application Form
Applications are submitted to the Erasmus+ Coordinatorship of Üsküdar University.
Evaluation
Evaluation is based on:
- European Commission annual call priorities
- Rules established by the Turkish National Agency
- Institutional priorities
- Academic/administrative contribution
Selected staff are officially announced by the Erasmus+ Coordinatorship on the Announcements page after each application call.
