What is Erasmus KA171 Project?
Erasmus KA171 (International Credit Mobility) project, formerly known as K107, is another exchange project that is similar to the KA131 program but has different points. The main point where KA171 and KA131 differ is the partner countries. Within KA131, cooperation can be established with Erasmus program countries (including 28 EU member states, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Macedonia, Turkey, Serbia), while within KA171, cooperation can be established with countries from different geographies of the world under the title of partner countries. The KA171 project is carried out on the basis of mutual department and quota agreements between universities. The minimum duration of learning mobility is 3 full months and the maximum duration is 12 full months.
KA171 projects offer higher education students the opportunity to learn and receive education in another country, while academic and administrative staff have the opportunity to teach or receive training in another country. In KA171 projects, student mobility with Partner Countries can be realized as a learning activity; internship activity is excluded.
This program is only available in countries outside of Europe.
What are the Application Criteria?
