ERASMUS STAFF MOBILITY FOR TEACHING

Teaching mobility can be undertaken:

  1.   To a Higher Education Institution that holds the Erasmus University Charter and with which a valid Inter-institutional Agreement is in place.
  2.   By incoming staff of an enterprise invited to Üsküdar University to undertake teaching activities.

There is an obligation to deliver at least 8 hours of teaching (i.e. at least one day). A minimum duration of 2 working days is strongly recommended to provide a meaningful contribution to the teaching program and international academic life at the host institution.

 ERASMUS STAFF MOBILITY FOR STAFF TRAINING

Staff Training Mobility Programme is open to the academic and administrative staff of higher education institutions that hold the Erasmus Charter.

1) Mobility of administrative staff to a higher education institution

2) Mobility of administrative staff to an enterprise

3) Mobility of academic staff to a higher education institution

1) Mobility of administrative staff to a higher education institution

The purpose is to allow the beneficiaries to learn from the experiences and good practices of a partner institution and to improve the skills required for their current job. The main activity is a short stay in the partner institution that may include a short secondment period, job-shadowing scheme, study visit, etc.

2) Mobility of administrative staff to an enterprise

The purpose is to allow the beneficiaries to learn by transfer of knowledge or know-how and to acquire practical skills. The activities can be very varied: language training, seminars, workshops, courses, and conferences. These types of activities should not represent the majority of total Erasmus-funded training days.

Formal periods of practical training, short secondments, etc. should account for the majority of the activities carried out. 

3) Mobility of academic staff to a higher education institution

The activities may include language training, seminars, workshops, courses, and conferences. For each HEI these training activities should not represent the majority of training days for staff participating in Erasmus staff training

The duration of the training period should be from 2 working days to 5 days.

Weekends or holidays falling in the period of the stay abroad are not considered for support unless they are used as working or travel days. In such cases, the work plan should demonstrate that training activities have been undertaken for the period reported.

Application & Selection:

Teaching/Training program (Teaching WorkplanTraining Work Plan is prepared, signed by both higher education institutions, and a request for a letter of invitation from the other institutions.
with all application documents (Application Form, the Letter of Invitation, Curriculum ) is applied to the Erasmus Office.
According to the criteria, staff who go abroad are announced by the commission.

Staff will open a Euro account to receive the grant from the YapıKredi Ümraniye branch.
Grant contract is prepared with Üsküdar University Erasmus Office and staff training personnel.
The Selection of the Staff will be done by an Assessment Commission which will be formed by the Rectorate. The Commission evaluates the applications carefully, by considering the call for proposals announced by the European Commission and annually and the rules and priorities established by the Turkish National Agency.


During Mobility:

Academic activities carried out in the Work Plan ( Training Work Plan Teaching Work Plan)
Participation certificate is received from the institution attended. (Confirmation of Teaching/Training Activities)


After Mobility:

Certificate of Participation
The copy of the Passport ID page and pages showing the entry-exit dates.
Final Report Form
 

Bank Details:

Staff are required to fill in the bank details forms and present them before the start of the placement, to receive the Erasmus Placement grant. The grant contribution will be paid in two installments: 80% 45 days after the financial contract has been signed; the remaining 20% within 30 days of the end of the staff mobility period, provided that all documents have been duly delivered. The contribution will be paid by bank transfer.

Travel Expenses:
