2018 Project Period Application Call for Erasmus+ European Internship Consortia Staff Mobility for Training

 

Staff mobility for training enables the staff of higher education institutions to spend a period of training between a minimum of 2 working days and 8 weeks in an enterprise or organization such as a higher education institution in another participating country. It is not required to have an Erasmus+ Inter-Institutional Agreement between two institutions.

 

The last date of the mobility can be carried out on May 31, 2021.

 

Minimum Requirements for Application:

The applicants have to be a part-time/full-time staff of Uskudar University and must be legally employed by Uskudar University. Priority in Staff Mobility for Training is given to the administrative staff.

*Part-time staff applicants who work in another higher education institution on a contractual basis must apply to the Erasmus+ Program in the institution they work full time.

With the allocated budget for the 2018 Erasmus+ European Internship Consortium Mobility, a maximum of 3 staff will be granted. Funds will be given a maximum of 5 days.

 

Application Dates: January 25 - February 26, 2021

English Proficiency Exam: March 03, 2021, Wednesday

Mobility Deadline: May 31, 2021

 

Application Steps:

  • Staff participating in the program must fill in the Application Form prepared for the Erasmus+ European Internship Consortium,
  • Staff participating in the program should obtain an Acceptance Letter from the institution/company where they will carry out the training mobility, including the dates of mobility,
  • Staff Mobility for Training Agreement, which includes the information about the program and the work plan of the staff who will participate in the program, must be signed by the host institution, staff and International Relations and Exchange Programs Unit,
  • Approved permission letter for the relevant mobility dates via EBYS,

Selection Criteria:

The selection of staff to participate in the Training Mobility is made by taking into account the annual Call for Proposals made by the Election Commission determined by the Rectorate of Üsküdar University and the European Union Commission and the national priorities determined annually by the National Agency.

*20% of the Foreign Language Exam; 

- YDS, YÖKDİL to be accepted as 70, 

- if they do not present a foreign language document of the administrative staff and research assistants, foreign language grade (to graduate from a program that language of 100% English in Turkey (BA) evaluation of 70 points out of 100) or Foreign Languages ​​from the English proficiency exam held by Coordinator receiving at least 70, 

* The primary and substitute lists are ranked from the highest score to the lowest score, evaluation is not based on any score. 

* Applications are prioritized according to the duration of the working year.

* Priority is given to units with staff, who have not previously participated in the program.

* If the staff is entitled to the program and withdraws from the program without force majeure, the unit represented by the staff and himself/ herself loses priority. 

* Disabled personnel have priority. 

* According to Article 21 of the Anti-Terror Law dated 12/4/1991 and numbered 3713, “public officials who have become disabled, died or killed while performing their duties at home and abroad, or who have been subject to terrorist acts due to their fulfillment of these duties even if their title has ceased to exist. 'S spouses and children and the spouses and children of those who lost their lives due to the coup attempt and terrorist act carried out on 15/07/2016 in accordance with Article 7 of the Decree-Law No. 667 dated 23 July 2016, The spouses and children of these people have priority if they apply for Erasmus+ Staff mobility. 

 

Evaluation Results:

Evaluation Results will be announced on the Üsküdar University Erasmus+ Website as a primary and substitute list.

Training Mobility Grant Calculations:

The daily grant amount to be given to the staff who will benefit from the Training Mobility is calculated by taking into account the amounts stated in the table below according to the duration of travel with the destination country. The amounts shown in the table are in Euros (excluding travel expenses).

Daily/weekly grants given to staff benefiting from training mobility; it covers expenses such as accommodation, eating and drinking expenses, communication expenses, local travel expenses, insurance costs. No additional payment is made for these expenses. 

• The mobility must be documented with a Certificate of Participation. No grant payment is made for the days that cannot be documented. 

 

Travel Expense Payments:

Travel grants to be paid to personnel are made using the "Distance Calculator". The travel grant support is calculated based on the city where the sending institution and the host institution are located in Table 2.  Grant payment is made for the days traveled (provided that it is supported by travel documents and not more than 2 days). In order to benefit from the daily grant amounts stated in Table 1, travel days should be excluded from visiting days.

Additional Grants for Disabled Staff:

In addition to the standard Erasmus+ grants, additional grants can be given to disabled beneficiaries participating in the Erasmus+ program to help their special needs. In case of this need, the International Relations and Exchange Programs Unit should be informed. 

 

Salary and Obligations Regarding Training Mobility: 

Staff who attends the mobility continues to receive his/her salary in Turkey. Additional travel and daily allowance are not paid to the staff who will go abroad, except for Erasmus+ grant (daily grant/ travel expense).
