2019-2020 Fall and Spring Semester Erasmus Student Mobility for Studies

Application Students, who wish to participate in the Erasmus Program in 2019-2020 Fall and Spring Semester, should follow the guidelines below:

 

 

Eligibility Criteria:

Important Note: Students will be selected as a candidate for Erasmus grant for the 2019-2020 academic year the amount of the grant will be clear in September 2019.

 

  • Student must be full-time student to enrolled in a higher education program the level of formal education (1st, 2nd or 3rd grades) in higher education institutions.
  • Minimum GPA of 2,50/4.00 for undergraduate students; minimum GPA of 2,80/4.00 for graduate students
  • Master’s and doctoral level students who apply first term and not yet occurred transcript can use the notes taken during the previous graduation.
  • For Learning mobility: a sufficient number of ECTS credits to be load
  • If previously benefited from activities in the current education level, the new activity is not passed along the total duration of 12 months

 

Application Procedure:

 

Student must submit the application in two steps:

  • Students must apply through “Erasmus+ Online Information System” pages ONLINE between 25 Jan-22 Feb, 2019.
  • Students must also submit the signed application form (2 copies) and transcript (2 copies) which shows current CGPA, till February 22nd,2019 16.00 to the Erasmus Office (room number 106) at Altunizade Campus, 1st floor
  • Documentation to prove your level of fluency (in case that you speak a European language other than English, and want to go to a university where it is the language of instruction)
  • Applicants will take the English Proficiency Exam, which will be held on 27 February 2019 by the English Preparatory Program.
  • Final results of the application period will be announced 11.03.2019.

Resignation dates: 11.03.2019-22.03.2019

 

The Points should be Considered During Application

  • Each student will be selected for the fall or spring semester.
  • Please check carefully academic calendar of preferred university before your choice.
  • In one period is required to take courses equivalent 30 ECTS. Therefore, you have to check courses which is opened in your preferred university. Make your choice in consultation with the departmental coordinator.
  • Please check the admission conditions, quotas and required language level of the university you prefer. Our quota for each period (Fall/Spring) maximum for 2 students in accordance with the agreements each between partner universities.

Take the Written Exam

  • All applicants will be invited and are required to take an English written examination prepared by Uskudar University English Preparatory Program. The exam will be B2 level. Applications without this English test score will not be processed.
  • Candidates, who participated in Uskudar University English exams before, have to take new English exam for 2019-2020 academic year Erasmus+ Study Mobility by the Directorate of Foreign Languages.
  • Candidates who have previously taken the English Proficiency Exam for the Erasmus Learning Program by the Foreign Language Coordinator of Üsküdar University can use the exam scores they have received for this application. Candidates' English proficiency exams have been valid for 1 year, and proficiency exam scores they have attended on older dates will be invalid. Students are required to inform the English Preparatory Program and the Erasmus Office before the exam so that they can take the language proficiency test they have entered.

 

  • The Erasmus Office will announce date and classrooms for the written exam on the Erasmus website of Uskudar.

 

Selection Criteria:

 

  • GPA %50
  • English Language Proficiency Exam %50
